Winter Fashion...?

Winter.  It's cold outside, yeah?  Then... why are people dressing like it's summer?  It's -80 and what are the girls wearing?  Shorty shorts and boots.  Yeah because that's warm.  Personally, I don't think blueish-purple legs are sexy, but then again I'm not all that attracted to girls.  Seriously though, what good does wearing boots do?  Sure your feet are warm, but you have half of your body exposed to the freezing cold weather.  To me, that doesn't make sense.  At least throw on a pair of tights under the shorts and pretend you have a brain.  So when it's a blizzard outside, will I be wearing my barley there shorts and some snow boots?  Yeeaahh... no [:  I like to think I possess what most people seem to have lost.  Common sense [:
