Pretty Dumb If You Ask Me

When a guy is dating a girl, they always say the same reasons they like them.

• she's beautiful (even if she looks like she crawled out of a hole)
• she's nice (even if she's a total brat)
• she's smart.....

Ok here's the thing.  Why does every guy insist that every girl he dates is 'smart'?  She could literally be failing all of her classes and not even have any common sense, yet the guy claims she's smart!  Just because he finds her to be pretty!  The part that makes me laugh the most is when the guy is SUPER smart and does amazing in school and takes all college classes and others actually worth taking (unlike underwater basket weaving like the stupid girlfriend is taking and failing) yet he still claims her to be smart!  To me, that seems so incredibly messed up.  Sure she's nice to look at, but isn't better to have someone you can actually carry on a conversation with that doesn't always involve hair, nails, shoes, and other useless things?  Looks are great for a short time, but some sort of knowledge lasts forever (unless of course you suffer a brain trauma and have memory problems).  Personally, I would love a guy to say he loves his girlfriend, but she's dumber than a box of rocks.  Because that would just be awesome [:  But will that ever happen?  Yeeaahh... no [:  Because guys will continue saying things to make girls feel all pretty and sparkly [:  So sweet right? [:  And again I say, yeeaahh... no [:

Succeeding at Failing

I find it strange that in this day and age, we expect everything to come very natural to us and to be very easy.  I could go on about the advances of technology and how it progressively makes people lazy, but that would take forever.  Anyway, back to my thought; in school if you have a test on something, most people would study at least a little right?  Apparently that's unheard of for some people.  Which I find strange...  They'll just take the test without knowing ANY of the material!  Then they proceed to complain about not passing!  Seriously?  That's like walking through a maze in the complete dark and wondering why you keep running into walls and why you can't get out.  It's common sense people.  So if you're wondering if I have any sympathy to those that expect to succeed and end of failing from lack of applying themselves at ALL... yeeaahh... no [:  I really don't [:

Driving Me Crazy

Everyone knows what it's like to deal with horrible drivers.  Of all the bad habits drivers have, there is one that just drives me crazy.  If there is no specific right turning lane, and it's shared with the traveling lane, pretty sure you shouldn't slam on your brakes...  then turn...  If it's a green light, you can keep going pretty fast.  You don't have the take the turn going 60 mph, but you don't need to come to a screeching halt and take it going 5 mph.  That seriously happened to me the other day.  So is it a smart idea to stop to turn when it's a green light and there are cars going 50 mph following you?  Yeeaahh... no [:
